Wal-Mart Distribution Center

This distribution center site, now spanning 1 million sq. feet and containing 20 miles of conveyor belts, was built after a group of local business people went to Bentonville, Arkansas and personally sold Sam Walton on the Plainview community as a pro-industry place to do business. The community raised the funds to donate the land for the center.

Azteca Milling

Azteca Milling is the largest corn milling operation of its kind in the world, producing maseca used in making tortilla and corn chips.

Panhandle Popcorn Company

Panhandle Popcorn Company opened in 1942, selling hybrid popcorn, popcorn supplies and concession equipment regionally and decorative popcorn tins nationally.
